Topic 2: Students prefer to work independently rather than collaboratively.

Purpose/s of your speech: To raise awareness that students of this generation prefer to work individually rather than collectively.

Thesis statement: Most students prefer to work independently than with a team in projects and school activities; highly motivated and ambitious students prefer to work independently, but others prefer collaboration due to sharing ideas and making tasks easy.

Target Audience: it is for the teachers and students specifically.

Type of Speech: For the second topic, it's an Informative speech as it provides information that educates the audience that most students prefer to work independently.

“Good morning, everyone? This speech aims to create awareness that students in this generation mainly prefer working individually rather than collaboratively. In most school projects, students, especially the highly ambitious, tend to work independently instead of endorsing teamwork. However, this brings about a major challenge since teams are effective and support the sharing of ideas. Also, collaboration among students helps to make work easy. Also, collaboration among students helps to ensure that they motivate each other. As a result, the teachers must motivate students on the need for collaboration. To summarize, it is essential that the teachers create awareness to their student’s concerning the need for collaboration.”
