In my opinion BPT1501 has been a very relevant and educational course. The themes covered have been broad and have forced me to consider the realities of a career in education. I think this module has been very useful to my teaching career. The volume of work and depth of the material were manageable and the first written assignment was quite challenging.

I found Learning Unit 3 (the teacher as knowledge worker) and Assignment 4 (School experience and collage) to be the most interesting and enjoyable aspect of the course. It was lovely to experience the school environment as a prospective teacher and speak with those in the field of education.

I also had lots of fun putting a brochure together for a fictional school and I appreciate the creativity, enthusiasm and imagination that that assignment demanded
