Patterns of Development
There are several patterns of development namely narration, description, example, definition, comparison and classification. Narration has the purpose of telling a story or even narrating an event. It is useful in combining of information into an appropriate sequence. The details that are put together are usually in a chronological and logical order.
Description has a purpose of inventing and recreating of events, person or place. It is useful in guiding the reader on the bigger picture of what is been described. Description work in hand with the human senses namely; sense of taste, smell, touch, sound and sight.
For division and classification has a wider concept where there is division of information into individual pieces. The classification is essential in assisting the reader to understand the complexity of a given topic information. The topic is segmented into smaller parts easier relate with and provide a new view of understanding.
