The South African President Mr Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa to warn the citizens against the spread of misinformation pertaining the roll out of Covid-19 vaccines through Media briefing that was livestreamed from Ronnie Mamoepa Press Room at 20:00. During the media briefing he outlined some of the distribution plans and national vaccine strategy programmes. However, most of the youth complained about the of medical jargons which left many of the citizens confused. The president then announced the minister of Health and Media houses will clarify the citizens as he cannot address any concern during the speech. When marking closing remarks, he encouraged the public to use the relevant media outlet and government gazette to receive the Covid-19 vaccine and updates. He also mentioned that nobody will be given this vaccine against their will, nor will the vaccine be administered in secret.

The communication process is made up of four key components. This components include encoding, medium of transmission, decoding, and feedback. There are also two other factors in the process, and those two factors are present in the form of the sender and the receiver. From the above incidence the medium of transmission is the press which is purported to have livestreamed from Ronnie Mamoepa Press Room at 20:00. The coding is now the sending or dispersing of the information which alter the president alleged that it was misinformation. The news left citizens more confused especially when the president decided to distant himself from speculations.Â
