Advantages of wildlife conservation to local communities

By protecting forest from deforestation, the community around the forest area receives a lot of rainfall through the process of transpiration.

Wildlife conservation as lead to improved infrastructures as roads that helps the community with better transportation. And hospitals which helps local communities when one feels sick.

It provides opportunities to the communities economically hence improving their living standard. The communities also improve their social life by interacting with tourist.

Disadvantages of wildlife conservation to the local communities

Wildlife conservation as lead to lose of lives as many people have been killed by wild animals.

By conserving wildlife, the communities’ properties like crops are destroyed by wild animals like hippopotamus.

Due to high competition of grazing area between the livestock and the wild animals, the local communities are a times forced to migrate with their livestock abandoning their homes.
