Abstract is that significant part of a report, which gives the gist of the whole report along with its implication, methodology and the produced results of the topic under consideration. It helps the reader in quickly finding out about the research question and enables them to know whether it is relevant to their field of research. It acts like a magnet as it draws the readers or pulls them away from reading the report, hence it needs to be written after the report is properly written and concluded with sufficient suggestions and recommendations. Prepare an abstract of 180-200 words on a significant social issue such as cyber bullying, keeping all the five elements of an abstract in mind
Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that has been on the rise in recent times. Cyberbullying research began in the early 2000s; however, most of the research was cross-sectional, and this made it difficult to estimate the dangers and defensive factors associated with cyberbullying performance and discrimination. Cyberbullying is usually amongst youths between the ages of 25 and 40 years. Cyberbullying aims at how to determine the prevalence of adolescents and adults engaged in cyberbullying and also to examine the coping mechanisms and comorbidity factors associated with the cyberbullied people. Manuals intended to educate the public about cyberbullying summarize that cyberbullying is inclusive of acts of intended cruelty to others in the form of posting or sending material using an internet-capable device. Research has shown basic definitions and guidelines to help recognize and cope with what is regarded as abuse of electronic communications. The effects of cyberbullying also include mental health issues, increased stress and anxiety, depression, acting out violently, and low self-esteem. Cyberbullying can also result in long-lasting emotional effects, even if the bullying has stopped. These effects of cyberbullying can result in enduring feelings of embarrassment. In conclusion, all social platforms that practice the idea of cyberbullying should be shut down because they make the victims feel intimated.
