Education schools in the 1970s
Black children under apartheid grew up with little hope of bright future. The laws was meant to keep black and white people apart in all aspects of social life. The need of well trained black the workers lead to opening of high schools in Soweto outside Johannesburg however black students were barred from attending open universities by extension of education act in 1959 ,the act which was replaced by education and training act of 1979.
