You have been tasked with developing a public relations programme or campaign aimed at creating awareness of the socio-economic impact of covid-19 in South Africa. To do this, you must use the four step formula for planning a public relations programme. The campaign should take place in five cities and five provinces of your choice and note that the budget for this programme is R20 million

Defining the problem
In this step analyzing the problem is done, it involves research which is conducted formally or informally depending on which one suits the problem. Research is done to formulate which strategies to use, this usually done through SWOT analysis.
Step two
Planning and programming
This step is focussed on capitalizing and resolving the situation identified.
It begins by flipping the problem into the goal. The goal provides direction to strategic plans and objectives provide direction to specific measurable outcomes necessary to Meet the goal.
Step three
Taking action and communication
In this step analyzed ideas are put into action so as to analyze if they work or do not work.
Step four
Evaluation of the campaign
Evaluation is done in this step ,data is analyzed, conclusions and recommendations done and necessary changes are also done.
