Visual meaning is conveyed through still and moving images. Visuals are mainly used for quick and easy communication for a specific purpose. For example, one can introduce a 'YES' or 'NO' board to a child. This way, the child can easily communicate his or her response by pointing to the answer. This is a great way of teaching the difference between yes and no before they can be used verbally. Visuals are also used in order to instruct, persuade, entertain and represent feelings.
