There are many countries with very different educational systems. I believe that the biggest

difference is between Western and non-Western countries. I would like to compare

two educational systems – a Chinese one and a British one.

We need education to bring up children, to broaden people’s minds, and to

make people more knowledgeable. The educational systems of the UK and China are very different and very complicated.

China has a long history of education. the education system is being consummated gradually, while the UK is typical representative in western educator, who owns more advance education system.

• similarities

1. school education includes primary education, secondary education and higher education in both Britain and China.
2. Both emphasize the development of students on educational philosophy.
3. both emphasize teachers' professional development and continuing education in teachers' training.

China and Britain have different education ways which is mainly reflected in educational thinking and educational methods because of their history, cultural and economic strength differences.
