How does the context in which you teach (or would teach) allow or enable you to teach in ways that match your philosophical stance? What can you learn from global perspectives on the purpose of education?
The context of my teaching is mainly influenced by my environment. I have grown in an environment where there was so much interaction. Increased interaction through groupwork has proved to be effective because it helped me understand many things. Students need to be organized in groups of equal abilities for better learning.
Education helps shape our mindset and affects how we view things around us. I believe that education has enabled us to view the world as a place of opportunities and having education is an added advantage in that it makes the opportunities more realistic.
