1.     Appendix is a segment at the end of a paper that comprises information that is too detailed for the text of the paper itself. The content in the appendices should be easily presented in print format. Appendices consists of :

·        Photographs

·        Maps

2.     An abstract is a brief summary of a lengthier work (such as a thesis or research paper). The abstract concisely reports the aims and results of your research so that readers know exactly what the paper is about. An abstract is a short statement about a paper intended to give the reader a broad, concise and understanding of a paper's report and findings. It is a small version of a paper. There are three brands of abstract: informative, descriptive and critical. The qualities of a decent abstract are reviewed and some of the common errors are given. Practical experience is established around some examples of abstracts which are reviewed to see if they keep the guidelines and escape the common errors.
