Planning is important, but voiding your mind is crucial. Planning gives you a roadmap as to what you can come across during the negotiation thus it is like a map of the territory. It also forces you to acquaint yourself with your adversary’s positions, his interests, strengths and weaknesses. While developing a program it is important to remember that it should be based on the analysis of the past experiences, it should have clear and significant objectives, it should fix up priority on the basis of available resources and time, and should clearly indicate the availability and utilization of resources. Extension programs should also involve relevant institutions and organizations, they cannot be implemented in isolation. It requires the support of many institutions and organizations.
