Hello, Mark,

How is it going?

My apologies I haven’t been in touch for quite several days. I recently completed my exams for the semester hence been busy studying every free minutes. How did your assessment go? I am certain you performed brilliant as always!

As for me, I attended a recent school trip on careers event sponsored by XYZ Company. The career event was held on the 20^th of this month at XYZ headquarters conference hall. We got there by our school bus which was a fun experience given that this was the first time this semester to travel with my schoolmates.

The event was exclusively dedicated to acquaint us with information on different careers about the company and its partners, the education, and skills required to succeed in the variety of careers supported by the current courses we undertaking. I was particularly intrigued by the Biostatistics career that focuses on analyzing diverse data and statistics on living things gathered during medical research studies to draw inferences and make predictions.

The event was overwhelmingly successful given the activities that we undertook afterwards such as fun team building activities and of course a mini party that enabled us interact with the company’s employees undertaking different careers helping us make a connection between our school and workplace.

 I will tell you more about this when we catch up.
