I agree with the argument that schools over emphasize on academics and career goals and fail to instill social skills. Seldom do educators prepare learners for social challenges the face as adults. There are multiple aspects of life and social skills play a crucial role. Although learners are equipped with professional skills, very few are aware of the importance of social skills in the workplace. As a result organisations are compelled to spend money to train employees on how to relate with one another, in order to reduce workplace strife. The reason for such trends is that schools don't incorporate training of social skills in schools.
