Discuss animal communication system with reference to crabs, birds and bees
Animal communication differs depending on the type of an animal. Consequently, animal communication can be termed as the transmission of a signal from one animal to another that benefit the sender and the recipient literally. Animals uses natural mechanism to communicate to each other which comprises of chemical signals, smell, touch, movement, gestures, posture, sound, visual signals among other natural methods of communication. Consequently, this natural mode is modified to attract, resist especially the enemy, submission, impending danger of the predator, advertise specie, communicate about availability of food. Conclusively this signal may be instinctive referring to that they may be genetically modified or learned from other species due to different environments.
Subsequently majority of animals applies body language, sound and smell as well to communicate with each other. Animals can express themselves by realizing the airborne chemicals to relay messages to others, for instance bees dance when they finds the nectar, this expression directs other bees to the same source of nectar.
