The difference between an amine and an amide is that an amide contains carbonyl functional group directly attached to the amino group while an amine has no carbonyl group.

Examples are methanamine CH3NH2 and methanamide HCONH2.




(Note that amuse as written in the question is a typographical error of writing amide. There is no functional group as amuse in Chemistry)
