Briefty describe the vegetative and reproductuve part of fungai
The vegetative body of fungi represents a unicellular or multicellular thallus. In multicellular fungi, the vegetative part consists of a tangle of slender thread-like structures - hyphae. The mass of hyphae is a mycelium. Fungal hyphae are divided into separate cells by walls called septa. Fungal colonies composed of mycelium are found in and on soil and many other substrates. The spores are the basic reproductive parts of fungi. A mushroom is a fruiting body, which is the part of the fungus that produces spores.
