Describe the effect the amount of soap on the amount of extracted DNA

During the process of DNA extraction, soap is used to destroy and to sollubilize cell membranes and to release nucleic acids. As a result, low amounts of soap may be not enough to release DNA from the cell. Higher amounts of soap could increase the DNA yield.
