An actual elite is someone who has an impact on how others believe, even if they are not directly under his supervision or intimately acquainted with him. Their status is determined by the amount of people they affect who are not personally acquainted with them.

Elite production, on the other hand, is at an all-time high —and has been for generations. As a result, there are a lot of potential elites. To put it another way, there are people who have trained to be elites yet have little or no influence on how others think.

This causes a huge group of people to become enraged and, as a result, to lash out at non - elites who are monetarily more successful than themselves.
