Structural inequities, which refer to a social group's systematic disadvantage compared to other social groups with whom they coexist and are deeply embedded in the fabric of society, can be used as a useful lens through which to view and address social problems such as unemployment in the post-civil war era. The following are the reasons for the conclusion:

Many people have remained unemployed as a result of racism in the backdrop of the covid-19 pandemic. This is because if a job opening arises, those in power will give preference to people of their own race, therefore we can see that structural disparities is a good lens through which to observe and fight unemployment.

During the Corona epidemic, structural inequalities, such as class indifference, contributed to the social problem of unemployment, since many people from the third class of the economy were among those who lost their jobs, resulting in higher poverty levels. Gender is another structural imbalance that has largely contributed to unemployment in the Covid-19 competition, where the female gender has been discriminated against in terms of job allocation, with women being refused or offered few possibilities as opposed to men.
