Social stratification
The division of a society's people into economic classes based on factors such as cash, wealth, race, education, and position is known as social stratification. Wealth and income, social class, ethnic origin, sexuality, political status, and religious doctrine are all examples.
Ascribed characteristics
A person's ascribed features are traits acquired via birth, genetics, or the aging process. Sex, ethnicity, and age are examples of attributed attributes.
Achieved characteristics
Achieved qualities are a stance that shows a person's talents, competences, and accomplishments; it is a stance that is acquired or picked based on merit. Professional sports, university lecturers, and attorneys are all examples.
