explain the concepts of Phenomenology and Ethno-methodology.
Phenomenology asserts that objects occur since individuals construct and perceive them as such. Both Alfred Schutz and Edward Hussral contributed to the development of phenomenological ideas with the belief of describing the core characteristics of the social environment as it is understood and constituted by ordinary persons through their daily life.
Ethno-methodology, coined by Harold Garfinkel, emphasizes a society of 'social facts' as co-created or accomplished through individuals' interpretive role. Garfinkel affirmed that social facts and social reality are constructed, organized, and produced through the circumstances and mundane actions of daily routine.
