Ethnocentrism is a term used to refer to a situation where the ethnic, social occasion, traditions. Political aspects, or a specific manner of life of a particular society, are deemed superior. The convictions discussed herein are usually facilitated by socialization process which establishes a framework of beliefs, attitudes, and overall interpretation of social aspects. It illustrates a rise and extremism in different societies against immigrants and minorities as the dominant society perceives them as inferior. Ethnocentrism experiences tend to create constrained relationships, inferiority complex, conspicuous discriminatory effects, and invisibility in society. Such aspects make it difficult for immigrants and minority communities to socialize effectively due to suppressed feelings.
