Assimilation sociology is a concept of sociology where by sociologist study the process by which people or group acquire another culture which is not their original one. Assimilation in this concept is used to imply a process involving persons or groups acquiring culture of another group in which they live. The acquisition of this culture is indicated when a group or people adopt attitudes, values, patterns of thinking and behaving and other aspects that define the way of life of other people.
