A situation where stigmatization was portrayed was when my now friend was discriminated by the family when she began using alcohol since the family members were staunch Christians. However, the stigmatization influenced him intensively leading him in intensive drinking. He became a drunkard and was never given a chance or a listening year on what caused the drunkardness. However, when I talked to him and listened on the root cause, he shared everything that inclined him to begin drinking alcohol. I talked to him on the essence of recovering from depression and checked on him every time until he abstained from alcohol.
