How Memory is Related to Intelligence

The relationship that exists between memory and intelligence has evolved over time which makes it difficult to define. This does not necessarily mean that a better memory relates to greater intelligence. However, there are chances that the opposite could also be true. Memory is linked to intelligence in that the ability to learn depends on an individual’s memory. Considering examples, it relates to how individuals are able to solve problems.

Strategies to Enhance Memory

There are various strategies that I apply to improve my memory. They include:

Getting enough sleep

Using mnemonic devices

Avoiding cramming information
