Be aware of who you're talking to. The most crucial aspect of any effective public relations plan is knowing who your target audience is.
Consider what you want to achieve with your brand and when you want to do it.
Create a message.
Once you have determined who you are trying to reach and what you want to accomplish, the following step is to figure out how to customize your message to your target audience to achieve your objectives (Zimanyi, 2020).
Know who your competitors are.
Knowing everything, there is to know about the competition is the only way to remain ahead of it.
Maintain your relevance.
Only by remaining a relevant force in the marketplace for as long as possible can you stay top-of-mind with the public.
