Thabo’s mother, Mrs Radebe, has approached you, the teacher counsellor, for help. Mr and Mrs Radebe have noticed that Thabo seems distressed lately, and is refusing to go to school. He does not sleep well and cries uncontrollably every morning before school. The parents require help in understanding Thabo’s behaviour. 

Who would you consider interviewing to obtain additional information?

I would interview Thambos Class teacher to find out his behavior in class and how he relates with fellow classmates. The class teacher is close to students and interacts with them personally and would be in a position to give more details.
