Do you think that there may be senses which do not necessarily receive information only from the environment, but rather from within us as well? (For example, how do you sense that you are hungry? If you hold your breath, which sense ‘senses’ that you need air? How do you sense the need for belonging?)

Yes, there may be other senses because people can have advanced abilities to help interpret the signal we receive from the ordinary senses and inner responses. For example, individuals feeling of worm or coldness may vary from one another. also feeling of hunger may be different between two or more people depending on the inner response to the feeling. When one holds breath, inner senses will alter the breathing mechanism to force one to breathe. Also, sense of belonging comes from inner feeling that satisfies one’s thoughts of ownership.
