The theory of relativity is traditionally broken into two parts, special and general relativity.
(a) General relativity is a theory that was proposed and published by Albert Einstein and it is related to gravity. Albert argues that the space-time around the planet earth is not only abnormal but also bound because of the planet’s rotation and this is the reason why there is a gravitational effect between the masses.
(b) Special relativity on the other hand is a scientific theory that was published by Albert Einstein in 1905; he published this in a paper titled ‘On the electrodynamics of moving bodies and it provides a framework for translating physical events and laws into forms appropriate for any inertial frame of reference. Einstein developed this theory because of the failure of Newton’s mechanics and electromagnetism equations of Maxwell and Michelson Morley’s null result of his experiment. This theory corrects the mechanics of situations that involve all motions.
