In the "Andromeda Nebula," Edwin Hubble detects a Photometric variable star, proving that Andromeda and other nebulas are galaxies far beyond our own. By 1925, he had created a universe classifying method.
Robert Goddard ignites the first liquid-fueled missile. He also shows that a rocket can function in a vacuum. His subsequent missiles are the first to surpass the sound barrier.
Edwin Hubble found that the world is growing and that the farther a galaxy is from us, the quicker it moves away from us. Georges Lemaître proposes two years later that the growth may be traced back to an original "Big Bang."
