Outline the purpose of Personal protective equipment (PPE).

PPEs are worn to minimize the exposure of employees to hazards that cause illnesses or injuries (Nill, 2019). Also, they prevent the employee’s contact with harmful chemicals, radiological, physical, electrical, mechanical, among other workplace hazards.
