The COVID-19 is a pandemic that has negatively affected the lives of individuals globally. Most people have lost their families and are still afraid to contact the highly infectious virus. Also, the education of many individuals has been affected due to the virus. As a result, various types of reasoning can be applied to persuade one's audience to commit themselves to complete their educational journey during the COVID-19 pandemic. Metaphoric inference involves convincing the audience through events that are not conventionally applicable. The events can either be real or just imaginations. Abductive reasoning persuades the audience by teaching them the likely circumstances if they end up not completing their education. As for deductive reasoning, the speaker draws his conclusion from examples that are well-known to the audience. Inductive reasoning plays a major role in discovering means to struggle and compete education amidst the COVID-19.
