We know that CPU is responsible for exicution of any kind of process running inside the system.

As by the diagram the main steps followed by the cpu is

• Instruction fetching from main memory :instruction details are stored at program counter are passed to cpu Inorder to exicute.
• Instruction decoding :the process are in encoded format, which is decoded by the cpu Inorder to start the execution.
• Process exicution by performing ALUALU operation :after the decoding process the cpu will execute the process.
• Perform memory operations:each process needs different kinds of memory operations like load and store. Which is done by the cpu.
• Updating the respective register contents:after the alu perfomans the cpu will load the results into their respective register memories.
• update the program counter for next instruction
