·     Discuss the inter-dependence of workstation hardware with networking software and provide examples for networking software.
A workstation is a high-performance computer system designed primarily for single users, with advanced graphics, high-capacity storage, and powerful central processing units. Workstations are more powerful than personal computers (PCs), but less sophisticated than servers (which can manage large networks of peripheral PCs or workstations and perform vast amounts of computing and reporting tasks).Network software is a set of tools that help computers share information with each other and users share computer programs.so workstation hardware and networking software relate whereby the network software provides tight security to the workstation hardware.
Examples of networking software:
a client-server program which has part of the program on the server and part on the client's computer.
