Introduction to computer 500
Every computer has 4 main parts: central processing unit (CPU), memory, input and output. The CPU is a "brain" of the computer. It is located on a motherboard. CPU receives signals from input, processes, and send new signals to the output. Memory, or also RAM (random access memory) is a part of the computer where all the information is stored. Input and output are consists of everything you will add to the computer, like keyboard, mouse, touchpad, microphone, and everything you use to receeve the information from the computer, like speakers, monitor and so on, respectively.
The most important part of a computer is motherboard, which consists of many other parts, including CPU, in/out chips, RAM etc. Another important part is expansion card, which is used to more functionality to computer system, like, for example, connecting video card. The other part is power suply, which converts mains AC to low-voltage regulated DC power for the other components of a computer.
