An object is placed in front of spherical mirror, and the magnification of the system is m = -6. What does this number tell you about the image?
1) Since magnification is image height over object height, we can conclude that the size of the image is 6 times greater than the size of the image.
2) Since magnification is negative, the image is inverted (the height is measured in the opposite direction compared to the object).
