Answer to Question #168115 in Physics for ranger

Question #168115

I have 5 small questions about 2D motion 1. A ball is thrown horizontally at a speed of 2.25 m/s off of a 88.44m tall cliff. How much time will it take to reach the bottom of the cliff? 2. A ball is thrown from the ground at an angle of 43.25o from the horizontal and at a speed of 8.69 m/s. Assuming the ground is level, what will the impact speed of the ball be? 3. A student standing on a 62.3m tall cliff throws a ball at an angle of 30 degrees from the horizontal at a speed of 16.55 m/s. What is the maximum height the ball will reach with respect to the base of the cliff? 4. A student standing on level ground throws a ball at an angle of 30 degrees from the horizontal at a speed of 26.3 m/s. What is the time it takes the ball to reach the ground after it is thrown? 5. Given an initial launch speed of 10.45 m/s, what is the maximum range a projectile can travel across level ground?
