Tokamak is a Russian abbreviation for toroidal chamber with magnetic coils. This is a nuclear fusion reactor that can hold hot (200 000 000°C) plasma, although it is not completely developed yet. The plasma will levitate in magnetic field. It is impossible in a spherical chamber because of the "hedgehog" hairy ball theorem, so torus is the shape of a magnetic field than can hold plasma.
Tokamak would allow avoid nuclear waste and will be much more efficient and sustainable than all modern nuclear power plants.
