The rate of spontaneous emission to stimulated emission in sun is hard to calculate quantitatively, there are not so much literature on this topic.
"Laser action [in sun] is possible only when atoms and molecules have their energy distributed in certain ways" (Jeff Hecht, 1984) Few atoms in the sun comply with this criterion. Therefore, laser action can be possible in sun for a very short time.
