What is entropy
Entropy – a measure of the disorder of a system. According to the second law of thermodynamics, a system will always evolve into one with higher entropy unless energy is expended. In thermodynamics, entropy S is defined by the relationship between the absolute temperature T and the internal energy U as 1/T = ΔU/ΔS. Another definition, based on the second law pf thermodynamics, gives the change in the entropy between the final and initial states.
