When a light source emitting line spectrum is kept in an external magnetic field,the spectral lines emitted by the atoms of the source are split into a number of polarized components.This effect is called Zeeman effect.Anamalous Zeeman effect that is shown by all lines due to transition between Multiplet levels. The expression of energy is
