a) measures involving reduced wastage of energy

b) sensible choice of equipment and appliances

c) making use of renewable energy.

a)

• When not in use turn off televisions, lights, computers,video games and other electrical equipment when they are not using them to reduce the amount of fuel used.
• Buying and using equipment that uses less electricity, this equipment includes refrigerators, lights, washing machines, heaters, and air conditioners at their homes to reduce the power consumption.

b)

• Using public means of transport instead of each one using his/her private car, this will reduce the number of private cars on the road this reducing the amount of fossil fuels emitted to the atmosphere.
• Buy food that is locally produced. When it is produced at a farm around their homes, then less fuel is needed to transport it. Thus less fuel is used

c)

• For cooking purposes this homes should practice the use of biogas since this is a renewable source of energy and it does not use fuel.
• Installing solar panels at their homes so that they can put in use the more renewable source of energy instead of relying largely on the use of gas and oil which used lots of fuel to generate electricity.
