Explain, how IC555 timer can be used for recovering a pulse width modulated signal from pulse position modulated signal?

Firstly, the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) waveform generated by the first 555 is used as an input to the second 555 to obtain the PPM (Pulse Position Modulation) wave form. Then again another IC 555 timer is used to recovering a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal by connecting the PPM (Pulse Position Modulation) output from the second IC 555 timer to the third IC 555 timer input and we get PWM signal from the last IC 555 timer.

 

Answer:  Using three IC 555 timers with desired connection we get PWM signal from PPM signal.
