For parallel connection of resistors

1/Rsum=1/R1+1/R2+...+1/Rn1 / R_ {sum} = 1 / R_1 + 1 / R_2 + ... + 1 / R_n

where

RsumR_ {sum} - equivalent resistance

RnR_n - resistance of n-th resistor


In the case of identical resistors, i.e. R1=R2=...=RnR_1 = R_2 = ... = R_n , above formula may be simplified

Rsum=R/nR_ {sum} = R / n
