The average time value of the power in the AC circuit is of practical importence "P=\\frac{RI_{peac}^2}{2}"

The same power is provided by the DC current "I_{RMS}=\\frac{I_{peac}}{\\sqrt2}"

If "I_{RMS}=230V" then "I_{peac}=I_{RMS}\\sqrt2\\approx324V"
