The examples are;

1. Collaborating-collaborating Style of solving problems is a combination of being assertive and cooperative, those who collaborate attempt to work with others to identify a solution that fully satisfies everyone's concerns. In this style, which is the opposite of avoiding, both sides can get what they want and negative feelings are minimized.

2. Adjudication-when there is conflict in African countries, Ubuntu is used to resolve the conflict by giving a judgment through a legal case.

3. Communality- When the disputes are interethnic; the elders were consulted for negotiation and compensation. Many Africans preferred dispute resolution by elders because it is free and thus accessible to most people.

4. Group solidarity- when disputes arose, Ubuntu is used in group solidarity as an integral part of the process of achieving positive peace.

5. Humanity- Ubuntu has also been used to solve conflicts by showing works of kindness.
