Describe the two possible relationships between morality and God implied by the Euthyphro Dilemma. Which of the accounts do you find more plausible and why?
The first horn of the dilemma posed by Socrates to Euthyphro is that if an act is morally right because God commands it, then morality becomes arbitrary. God is the source of morality, because morality is grounded in the character of God. Moreover, God is not subject to a moral law that exists external to him.
