African Philosophy Is a philosophical dialogue that originates from the aboriginal Africans and their descendants. Most of the African Philosophers have written about post-colonial freedom. This explains how freedom was achieved and what it means to be free. However, the idea behind freedom in Africa has turned vague over time.

The African philosophy does not address the continent's problems. For example, the African philosophy of education does not address the political, social, economical, and technological problems in the continent. In addition, the universities in Africa do not relate the knowledge gained and the societal issues, therefore, makes Africa lag in development. The African philosophy of education is therefore concern about the production, memorization, and reproduction of the knowledge obtained in educational institutions.
